The Bible tells us in the book of Genesis 2:24 that, Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh. God created marriage as a union between a man and a woman to be a lifelong partnership of love, faithfulness, and companionship. The Bible presents marriage as honorable and a foundation for human life, symbolizing the relationship between Christ and the Church. Marriage first began in the garden of Eden in Genesis 2:18 which states that, Then the Lord God said, "it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." God's Love For Us The Bible teaches us that God's Love for us is everlasting, which means that His Love for us is eternal, steadfast and unconditional. Just as it is written in the book of Isaiah 54:10 which states that, For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast Love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you. In Psalm 103:11 shows God's love towards those who fear him which states that, For as the heavens are high above the earth so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him. God's Love Is Unconditional. God's Love for us is unconditional it is not conditional on whether a person is "good" or "worthy". It is a Love that does not end no matter what a person does.
